Nude was Ireland’s first healthy fast food chain—clean food with a dirty mind. With seven prime units across Dublin’s business and retail districts, Nude was GM free, sold only Fairtrade coffee, and sourced local organic produce, It built a cult following fast amongst the youth demographic and the high-income over 30’s. The brand flipped the script on the brown rice and tofu image of health food, instead giving it a fresh pop appeal. It was a design system that didn’t preach, just played. From staff t-shirts to moped livery, lime green was instantly Nude. The glass bottles for juices and smoothies and lunchbox in recycled cardboard won the Packaging of The Year award at the Institute of Designers in Ireland.
